Rewilding 50 hectares of forest in Barangay Bago Gallera, Talomo, Davao City, Philippines
is Ayala Land Carbon Forest Project in Davao. It is one of the strategies of the company
under their Carbon NeutrALIty program to neutralise scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions from
commercial properties. The revegetated forests and carbon sequestration benefits of the
restoration offsets Ayala Inc.’s residual emissions. In partnership with the Philippine Eagle
Foundation, the Ayala Land Carbon Forest Project in Davao has planted 65 native trees since
2018. From 2021 to 2022 alone, the initiative was able to plant 4,873 trees.
